The Role of Revolutionary Oromo Artists in Building Oromumma

Today, I would like to particularly look at revolutionary musical
artists from two Oromo music bands that formed in the early 1990s when
the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) joined the transitional government of
Ethiopia. Called the Hawwisoo Caffee Gada Band and the Bilisumma Band,
these bands and their artists were pushing forth through their music
the urgent need for national self-determination, freedom, and democracy
