  1. Dear all,

I am deeply saddened to learn the passing away of Dr Mohammed Rashad Abdulle, one of the greatest Oromo nationalists and distinguished Islamic scholars. I wish to offer my sincere condolences to his family, friends and people who knew him.

Dr M. R. Abdulle was a unique person who never mixed religion and politics, the two most sensitive topics. I was fortunate to meet him in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in October 1988. I also had the opportunity to interview him on our program, 3ZZZ Community Radio station, Melbourne in 2007 about his life experiences in general, which was fascinating.

May his soul rest in peace

He will be missed and his legacy will continue to live for forever.
