#OromoProtests
Oromo artists have come together to answer a moral call to stand by our Oromo brothers and sister whom are suffering behind prison walls and in dark rooms being subjected to unspeakable horrors on a daily basis. There are possibly thousands of Oromos who currently need our support and we have a moral obligation to reach and assist them in these hard times.
One of the many ways we can keep the moral and hopes of our people alive and sustain this movement is by standing by the most vulnerable of our society currently; the many children, youth, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, and grandmothers and grandfathers who are subjected to repulsive brutality and violence in the prison Gulags of TPLF. We need to keep the faith and hope of this very important segment of our society alive by standing by them with all our means.
This is a call to every single Oromo in a position to contribute, to contribute what we can. This benefit concert is aimed to fundraise a significant amount of money to assist the prisoners and their families. We have full faith in the Oromo community to turn out and help us reach our goal.
The revenues from this event #OromoProtests Benefit Concert will be sent directly to the families of Oromo Political prisoners through transparent and accountable channels.
The program will be held on April 9, 2016 at 301 Main Street NE Minneapolis, MN 55413 from 9:00 -2:00 AM.
